Terms of Service

Overview

These terms are a contract between you and Efferd LLC (“Efferd,” “we,” “us”) for use of efferd.com, including accounts, purchases, and the component registry.

By using Efferd you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the product.

The product

Efferd is a library of shadcn/ui blocks. You can browse publicly. Some blocks are free. Pro and Team unlock paid blocks through the private registry, plus the other features of those plans.

We may change, add, or remove blocks, features, or the site itself. We try not to break access you already paid for.

Accounts

You need an account to save favorites, buy a plan, and use the registry. You are responsible for the account and for keeping sign-in details and registry tokens private.

A Pro account is for one person. Do not share it. Team seats are covered below.

You must be at least 16. If you use Efferd for a company, you confirm you can bind that company to these terms.

Plans and payments

Paid plans are a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Prices are in USD. We may show an optional regional discount based on approximate location.

Payments are processed by Polar, which acts as merchant of record. The purchase is also subject to Polar’s checkout terms. Polar collects payment details. We receive enough order information to unlock your plan and show invoices.

Access starts when payment succeeds. Unpaid or incomplete checkouts do not unlock Pro or Team.

License

When you buy Pro or Team, we grant you a worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Efferd blocks in unlimited personal and client projects, including commercial work.

You may:

  • Install blocks into your own projects with the shadcn CLI or by copying code
  • Modify the code to fit the project
  • Ship those projects to customers

You may not:

  • Resell, share, or redistribute the Efferd library, registry, or a substantial collection of blocks as a competing kit, template pack, or marketplace listing
  • Share your account, login, or registry token with anyone outside the seats you paid for
  • Remove notices or claim that you created the Efferd library itself

Free blocks on the site may be used the same way, subject to these terms. Code you install lives in your project. We do not claim the apps you build with it.

Teams

Team includes a workspace and up to 10 members. The owner invites members. Members get access through that workspace, not by sharing a personal Pro login.

The owner is responsible for who is on the team and for keeping the shared registry token safe. If someone leaves, remove them.

Acceptable use

Do not use Efferd to:

  • Break the law or these terms
  • Probe, scrape, or attack the site or registry beyond normal browsing and installs
  • Circumvent paywalls, tokens, or seat limits
  • Mislead others about your relationship with Efferd

We may suspend access if we reasonably believe you have.

Refunds and updates

Efferd is a one-time digital purchase. We do not offer refunds once a plan is unlocked.

Pro and Team include lifetime access to future block updates at no extra cost, for as long as we operate the product. “Lifetime” means the life of the product, not a personal lifetime guarantee if we shut down.

Intellectual property

Efferd, the site, the registry, and the library are owned by Efferd LLC. These terms do not transfer ownership of that IP to you. Your license is only the rights described above.

Feedback you send us may be used to improve the product without obligation to you.

Disclaimers

The product is provided “as is.” Blocks are starting points. You are responsible for reviewing, adapting, and testing anything you ship, including accessibility, security, and fitness for your project.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Efferd is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages, or for amounts above what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Some places do not allow these limits. In those places, our liability is limited to the maximum the law allows.

Termination

You can stop using Efferd at any time. Email support@efferd.com if you want the account deleted.

We may suspend or close an account that violates these terms. Code already installed in your projects stays there. Registry access ends when the account or token is revoked.

Privacy

How we collect and use information is described in the Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use of Efferd after an update means you accept the revised terms. Material changes will be posted on this page.
