This is the license for blocks you take from Efferd. Accounts, payments, and liability limits are in the Terms of Service.
Free blocks
The blocks on the free plan, and the code the registry, CLI, or your agent hands you for them. Anyone may take these. An account is not required.
- You may
Use them commercially, inside a company, in a product you sell, and on client work. Change them, build on them, and keep your changes. No attribution on your interface, and nothing to ask us first.
- You may not
Do not pass the blocks on as themselves. Do not sell, share, sublicense, or publish them on their own, or as a UI kit, component library, template, theme, or starter. Do not use them to build a registry or service that hands these blocks to other people. Do not remove notices, or claim that you created the Efferd library.
- No warranty
The blocks are given as they are. If one breaks something, that is on the person who shipped it.
Pro and Team
Every block that is not on the free plan, and the code the private registry hands you for it. It is granted to the account that holds Pro or Team, from Efferd LLC, for as long as the conditions below are kept.
- You may
Use, copy, and change Pro blocks in any number of things you make — apps, websites, products, client work, personal or commercial — and sell what you make. No attribution needed. An open source project is fine, as long as the block is part of the thing it builds rather than offered on its own.
- You may not
Do not pass the blocks on as themselves. Do not sell, share, sublicense, or publish them on their own, or as part of a UI kit, component library, template, theme, or starter. Do not use them to build a library, service, or registry that hands blocks to other people. Do not share your login or registry token outside the seats you paid for.
- Clients
Build with Pro blocks for a client and hand the finished thing over. The client may run and change it as part of that project. They do not get a license to take the blocks into other work.
- Teams
Pro is one person. Team is a workspace for up to 10 members. Everybody who takes Pro blocks to work with needs their own seat. Sharing a login is not allowed.
- Annual
Billed once a year. It includes new Pro blocks and updates for that year. When the year ends and you do not renew, the plan returns to free. Blocks already in your projects stay there. You cannot take new Pro blocks until you renew or buy lifetime.
- Lifetime
A one-time payment. It includes updates for the life of this product. Lifetime means the life of the product, not a personal guarantee if we shut down.
- When it ends
A chargeback, or a license broken on purpose, ends access. Do not put Pro blocks taken under it into anything new. Code already shipped can stay. We do not offer refunds once a plan is unlocked.
- No warranty
Pro blocks come as they are, as the free ones do. You review, adapt, and test what you ship, including accessibility, security, and fitness for the project.
What is not
The site is not a block. It is what gives the blocks away, and it stays ours.
- Efferd itself
The catalog, the docs, the account, the registry — the application around the blocks. © 2026 Efferd LLC, all rights reserved.
- The name
“Efferd” is the name of this product. A license to the blocks does not let you use the name to say your thing is Efferd.
- The photographs
Pictures inside some blocks are demo photos, including images from Unsplash. They are not ours to pass on as a photo library. Swap your own in. The blocks do not depend on them.
- Other people’s work
Blocks are built with shadcn/ui and other open-source dependencies. Every dependency keeps its own license.
