About

A small product company. One person, shipping anyway.

Efferd is a library of shadcn/ui blocks — clean, structured, meant to be rewritten until they feel like yours. We are based in Faisalabad, Pakistan. There is no team photo because there is no team yet. Just Shaban Haider, building this into a real company.

A note from Shaban Haider

I built Efferd because I love beautiful UIs, good DX, and structured code — and I wanted to help.

I started when I was 14: WordPress sites, trying to rank on Google and make money from ads. That failed. Then I learned React and started a pile of SaaS ideas. None of them launched.

The thing that actually shipped was components. I was an ambassador on 21st.dev, paid cents whenever someone saw or used my work. When that program ended, I built an open-source library, posted it on X, and planned a Pro version.

I launched with one hero block at $19.99. I had around 200 followers. The first sale came in under five minutes. That changed everything. I finally believed I could build something that helps — and that someone would pay for it.

One-time products don’t pay every month. There are whole months with zero sales. I don’t quit. I’m still learning, on this project.

How we got here

  1. ~2023

    The name

Bought Efferd.com two years before launch. Wanted a short word with no meaning attached. “Effort” → “efford” was taken → Efferd. It was free. I bought it.

  2. 2025

    Open source, then Pro

After 21st.dev ended, an open-source library at ui.efferd.com, inspired by Tailark. Posted it on X. Then Pro.

  3. One hero. First sale.

Launched Pro with a single hero at $19.99. First sale in under five minutes.

  4. Now

    Still shipping

Still one person. Exploring how to hire. More categories, better AI, and eventually more than blocks — even if it’s slow.

The honest version

The catalog is still small. Docs are thin. Other kits often look the same — we’re trying not to ship bloated blocks or AI slop. A block should be something you customize until it’s yours. If you don’t care how the UI feels, generate it.

Lifetime access is lifetime of this product. Someone asked for AI. We added a copy-prompt button. We’ll get the rest right by shipping.

If that still sounds useful!
